Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted at That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week there is a new topic, and you compile ten books that fit the theme. You can find more information here.
It’s been a while since I did one of these, but I quite like the challenge of giving my last 10 books a one-word review, and since it’s Wyrd and Wonder I will be focusing on my latest fantasy reads (though that’s mostly business as usual). So, here we go:

Whispers Under Ground by Ben Aaronovitch: sarcastic.
The Riddle of the Sea by Jonne Kramer: tender.
Wilder than Midnight by Cerrie Burnell: perfect.
Moon Over Soho by Ben Aaronovitch: sexy.
Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch: (very) English.

Blood Legacy by Tej Turner: convoluted.
Nettle and Bone by T. Kingfisher: chiaroscuro.
The Bone Shard Emperor by Andrea Stewart: action-packed.
Blood to Poison by Mary Watson: angry.
In a Garden Burning Gold by Rory Power: mythical.
I haven’t read most of these (oops) but they are all so gorgeous!

Wow such gorgeous covers! And I love your one-word reviews, laughing at the one that says: “(very) English”.

Interested in Blood to Poison now as you put angry. Hmm.

Whoa, IN A GARDEN BURNING GOLD is a wicked title… I haven’t read anything by Power but will have to look that up.

It is quite the title! And it’s a magnificent story to go with it!
